Towers by Aermotor

Aermotor 4-Post Steel Towers, from 21' to 60', include both Stub Tower and Platform and fit every size mill. It's important to use a tower high enough for good wind exposure from every direction. The mill will pump more often, and will be safer in storms. The wheel should be at least 15 feet above all surrounding obstructions, such as buildings and trees, within a radius of 400 feet.

Stub Towers by Aermotor

An Aermotor windmill may be mounted on any other make of steel tower or a wooden tower by using an Aermotor stub tower. Please be sure the tower is adequate in strength for the size of mill being installed. No stub tower is needed for mounting an Aermotor mill on an Aermotor tower.

Wood Towers by Aermotor

Genuine Aermotor wooden towers and platforms utilize an original Aermotor design. They are built to manufacturing standards. Wooden towers are available in sizes from 14' to 37' to match any Aermotor mill. Each tower ships complete with platform and anchor posts. Our wooden towers are constructed using Basralocus, a very durable South American hardwood often used in heavy construction, industrial flooring, and ship decking. Wooden towers are shipped ready for erection with each part color-coded and letter-coded for easy, on-site assembly. An appropriate size Aermotor steel stub tower is required and must be purchased separately.
